The daring claim of the title is a lot to live up to and Haney works hard to meet the challenge by focusing on the most essential part of the game–the swing. The book’s 10 chapters are divided into three sections: “Understanding Your Swing,” “Fixing Your Swing” and “Using Your Swing.” Throughout, the secret at the core of his teaching should inspire in most golfers a sigh of relief: it’s not how good the swing looks that matters, it’s how well that swing strikes the ball. Through clear text and photo aids, Haney helps you understand the basic requirements of each shot well enough to fix mechanical problems without winding up in traction. Description of Mr. Haney’s inventional teaching concept is pretty convincing. However, the pictures and how-to are hardly mentioned in the book.

I have been playing golf for about three years. Until I went to see pro at Hank Haney Golf Ranch at Mckinney, Texas, I stuggled with my swing, putting all the time. It is Mr. Haney’s teaching program fixed my game for good. My handycap droped 20 points after I learn from his theory. Now I have a book signed by Mr. Kaney, it is a real bless. Believe me, I have read about 100 books, and I can tell you that this is the only one you need. I highly recommend this book to serious golfers. There so many tips, not many drills like you can find in other books. Some drills I learnd from other books actually ruin my game, totally useless and misleading. If you want to play a good game, follow Mr. Haney. He will lead you there.

Hank Haney’s book is the most knowledgeable golf instruction book I’ve ever read. It takes you step by step through the process of analzying your ballflight, then applying that to fix your swing. It also paints an amazingly clear picture of understanding a very misunderstood part of the swing; the swing plane. I would highly recommend this book to anyone trying to further their knowledge of the golf swing.

This book is strictly average. The information is the same you would find anywhere else. Nothing new. If I had a chance to review this before I bought it, I would not have made this purchase.
